Swanepoel Power 200 Features Markt Leaders
The Swanepoel Power 200 (SP200) has honored Markt leaders once again. The SP200 is the only formal annual analysis and raking of the industry’s most powerful and influential leaders. T3 Sixty has published this list for nine years and ranks the leaders based on eight pieces of criteria. The industry acknowledges the SP200 as the highest recognition an industry leader can receive.
Board of Managers member Joe Horning ranks #116, Matt Consalvo is at #120 and Carrillo landed at #182 on the 2022 list. Markt partner Michael Wurzer, the President and CEO of FBS, ranked #122 on this year’s list.
Markt started in 2017 when Metro MLS CEO Chris Carrillo and ARMLS CEO Matt Consalvo noticed their respective MLSs shared the same MLS DNA. In May, Markt started offering support services to realMLS in Jacksonville, Florida.
Horning (#116) is on the Markt Board of Managers. He’s a third-generation leader of the family-owned brokerage Shorewest Realtors. He leads a company of over 900 agents in Wisconsin who do approximately $3 billion in annual sales. He is the chairman of the Metro MLS Board of Directors and the 2022 chair for the Wisconsin Association of Realtors.
Consalvo (#120) runs one of the nation’s largest MLSs in Arizona Regional MLS (ARMLS), with nearly 41,000 subscribers. He volunteers in numerous leadership roles and is currently the 2022 chair of the Council of MLS. He received the 2020 CMLS Peter Shuttleworth MLS Executive of the Year award. He also is a co-founder of MLS Aligned.
Carrillo (#182) has served as Metro MLS’s CEO since August 2011. He also is a co-founder of MLS Aligned, a technology company owned by six MLSs. Carrillo actively serves in leadership positions with the National Association of Realtors and RESO. In 2019, he received one of the MLS industry’s most prestigious honors, earning the CMLS Peter Shuttleworth MLS Executive of the Year award.
Markt is a multi-MLS service organization focused on pooling resources and expertise to serve brokers/agents better wherever they may be. Serving ARMLS, Metro MLS, realMLS and other MLSs, Markt supports noncontiguous markets with customer support, marketing, technical resources and services of their choosing. Markt is the Dutch word for market. Since a market is any place where two or more parties meet to engage in sharing goods, services or information, the name fits with our MLS vision of making the market work.
