Rebrands are hard.

NAR circa 2018. HBO Max in 2023 and 2025. Cracker Barrel, today. It’s not fun when rebrands fail. Cracker Barrel’s intention was a simpler logo that played well on mobile. It did not work out. Us brand people commiserate, we’re cheering for each other, even across industries. Seldom do the keynote speakers that inspire us, preach the risks involved. So, in recognition of how hard a rebrand can be, let’s take a moment to appreciate recent MLS rebrands: Doorify, Apex and, now, LERA. Cheers. 🍺
