Positioning Your MLS

If 2025 was the year of show you value, 2026 might be the year of positioning. How should the world view your MLS? The budget option? The friendliest? The flexible? The Porsche of platforms? Ironically, in a universe where the masters of self-branding (brokers & agents) control MLSs as volunteer board members – MLSs haven’t nailed positioning. There are distinguishing differences from MLS to MLS other than just size or geography. That’s where positioning plays its part. To start, say something true:
We’re the __________ MLS.
Make a list. Solve the contradictions. You can’t be the friendliest MLS and not answer your phones. What are you compared to everyone else / competitors / etc.?
